Do not mess with this Medal of Honor soldier… Issues ominous warning to enemies of America…
Medal of Honor recipient warns enemies
“If you want war with the United States of America, there’s one thing I can promise you, so help me God, someone else will raise your sons and daughters.”
While being inducted into the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes, new Medal of Honor recipient Army Staff Sgt. David Bellavia issued a warning to anyone who might want to go toe-to-toe with the U.S.
“They may be watching this right now,” Bellavia said. “Our military should not be mistaken for a cable news gabfest show. We don’t care what you look like. We don’t care who your voted for, who you worship, what you worship, who you love. It doesn’t matter if your dad left you millions when he died or if you knew who your father was.”
“We have been honed into a machine of lethal moving parts that you would be wise to avoid if you know what’s good for you,” he said.
The Battle of Fallujah veteran said the U.S. does not want war because the military has seen the horrific consequences of it, but “if you want war with the United States of America, there’s one thing I can promise you, so help me God, someone else will raise your sons and daughters.”
President Trump presented Bellavia with the Medal of Honor on Tuesday for almost single-handedly clearing a house of insurgents during the Battle of Fallujah in 2004. While he was attached to A Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, Bellavia went into the house after the insurgents ambushed his unit, killing some in hand-to-hand combat.
Bellavia was originally awarded with the Silver Star for his actions. He is the first living Medal of Honor recipient who fought in the Iraq War.
