‘Unequivocal Proof of Attempt to Hijack Election’ … ‘Thomas Baker Questioned Yesterday’ …’NEW LEADS’

By John Solomon

Congressional investigators have confirmed that a top FBI official met with Democratic Party lawyers to talk about allegations of Donald Trump-Russia collusion weeks before the 2016 election, and before the bureau secured a search warrant targeting Trump’s campaign.

Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s private law firm.

That’s the firm used by the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign to secretly pay research firm Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence operative, to compile a dossier of uncorroborated raw intelligence alleging Trump and Moscow were colluding to hijack the presidential election.

The dossier, though mostly unverified, was then used by the FBI as the main evidence seeking a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant targeting the Trump campaign in the final days of the campaign.

The revelation was confirmed both in contemporaneous evidence and testimony secured by a joint investigation by Republicans on the House Judiciary and Government Oversight committees, my source tells me.

It means the FBI had good reason to suspect the dossier was connected to the DNC’s main law firm and was the product of a Democratic opposition-research effort to defeat Trump – yet failed to disclose that information to the FISA court in October 2016, when the bureau applied for a FISA warrant to surveil Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

“This is a bombshell that unequivocally shows the real collusion was between the FBI and Donald Trump’s opposition – the DNC, Hillary and a Trump-hating British intel officer – to hijack the election, rather than some conspiracy between Putin and Trump,” a knowledgeable source told me.

Baker was interviewed by lawmakers behind closed doors on Wednesday. Sources declined to divulge his testimony, other than to say it confirmed other evidence about the contact between the Perkins Coie law firm and the FBI.

The sources also said Baker’s interview broke new ground both about the FBI’s use of news media in 2016 and 2017 to further the Trump case and about Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s conversations in spring 2017 regarding possible use of a body wire to record Trump.

“The interview was one of the most productive we had and it opened up many new investigative leads,” one source said.

Another said Baker could not answer some questions about FBI media contacts, citing an ongoing investigation by the Justice Department inspector general into alleged illegal leaks, during and after the election, about the Trump collusion probe and other matters.

These revelations illustrate anew how much the FBI and Justice Department have withheld from the public about their collaboration and collusion with clearly partisan elements of the Clinton campaign and the DNC, Fusion and Steele, that were trying to defeat Trump.

The growing body of evidence that the FBI used mostly politically-motivated, unverified intelligence from an opponent to justify spying on the GOP nominee’s campaign – just weeks before Election Day – has prompted a growing number of Republicans to ask President Trump to declassify the rest of the FBI’s main documents in the Russia collusion case.

Ryan has said he believes the declassification will uncover potential FBI abuses of the FISA process. Jordan said he believes there is strong evidence the bureau misled the FISA court. Nunes has said the FBI intentionally hid exculpatory evidence from the judges.

And Meadows told The Hill’s new morning television show, Rising, on Wednesday that there is evidence the FBI had sources secretly record members of the Trump campaign.

“There’s a strong suggestion that confidential human sources actually taped members within the Trump campaign,” Meadows told Hill.TV hosts Krystal Ball and Ned Ryun.

John Solomon is an award-winning investigative journalist whose work over the years has exposed U.S. and FBI intelligence failures before the Sept. 11 attacks, federal scientists’ misuse of foster children and veterans in drug experiments, and numerous cases of political corruption. He is The Hill’s executive vice president for video.

        @yep “46,500 indictments…”

“Q” has been proven to be four 4Chan fraudsters. One of them was caught posting Q-drops live when he accidentally left his video feed on during an online text conversation. The Q-drops were posted live as they hit “enter”!! Why are you still publishing this Qanon lie about “StealthSuperSecretAGentSession’s has a plan an is gonna arrest them all ….”?? Who do you think benefits from that lie? (Answer key: Deep State actors, who know that justice delayed is justice denied, and are well aware that every day between the crimes and investigations means witnesses and evidence forever loss, resulting in ZERO future prosecutions.)

Your assertion is nonsense on the same level as Christine Fords groundless, baseless, and evidence free allegations against Kavanaugh. You’re using the same M.O. as her.

The Coup d’etat may have failed, but the plotters “insurance policy”, Jeff Sessions was seeded into Trump’s campaign early enough to ensure the cover-up succeeded. The most serious crime at Justice is obstruction of justice, by Marxist-Democrat appointees and career Federal law enforcement agents, officers, and attorneys.

Interesting that Sessions, Pence and McGahn all pushed Trump to hire Rosenstein. McGahn sealed the deal, then would later give 30 hours of testimony to Mueller.

Rosenstein would later convince Trump to hire Wray.

        Too many coincidences here.

Still no subpoena’s by a Justice Department prosecutor. No indictments. No 5AM “no knock” raids. None of the perpetrators in custody. This “reveal” is simply more corrupt politics, without justice and consequences.

I would suggest Trump take control of his Justice Department, in good faith with the American people who elected him. The first “orange prison jumpsuit” should belong to Jeff Sessions.

America needs a second, INDEPENDENT Special Counsel, an outsider, to tear through Justice and the FBI like a hot knife through butter. In fact, abolish the FBI entirely, and staff a new agency starting with managers who were former local Sheriff’s, and top agents of local law enforcement. Start a new FBI from the ground up, and permanently ban anyone who served at Justice or the FBI in the past 25 years. We need a clean break, to end the Marxist-Democrat’s “Praetorian Guard” at Justice and the FBI.

In the case of the Kavanaugh hearings, whether he’s confirmed or not, his reputation is ruined and this dishonest fraud, perjury, and character assassination will happen again in the future, unless there are criminal conviction to all of the involved perpetrators in the Democrat party.

In the same way with the Marxist-Democrat soft Coup run by the Federal intelligence and law enforcement agencies, it’ll simply happen again if it’s not prosecuted to the fullest extent of the wall. NO mercy. NO pardon’s. NO “wink, wink…nod, nod” good ol’ boy political uniparty network. ONLY TRUTH AND JUSTICE, and resulting in prosecutions resulting in hard jail time, will save this country.

            @YogicCowboy & Chuck

You’ve got to pick the good ones. The good one’s know who the other good one’s are.

@Chuck: The reason some favor Sheriff’s over Federal agents including Marshalls is that they are elected. Sheriff’s are generally closer to the people who elected them. They are from the towns who elected them. When you find a hard-leftist as Sheriff, as in “purple” San Diego County, it’s because the progressives pulled him in from somewhere else, and he/she’s not a local.

You have to start rebuild somewhere. And yes, I believe that the nation still needs an FBI, or DHS, or other domestic, national policing service to handle interstate crime and counter-espionage. We can argue their future jurisdiction, and perhaps leverage local policing, but the need will remain.

The FBI needs to be destroyed to rid the nation of “… by any means necessary” Marxist-Democrats as acting as government agents under color of authority, to further their partisan political, leftist ideology.

NO MORE COMMIE’S IN THE US GOVERNMENT, PERIOD. NO MORE UNION CIVIL SERVICE. Federal works can be civil service, or union, but not both.

This bombshell testimony makes one suspect that the IG’s report was compromised.

The congressional committee needs to “interview” Horowitz again about the discrepancy. Then Trump needs to FINALLY clean house, starting with firing Sessions, and appoint a independent Special Counsel to investigate Obama, Hillary, and the whole Coup mess.

Hell, Kane, you’re in for it now. You got involved.
            🙂

I’m a principled, Christian conservative, and patriotic Navy veteran. I am honest. I do not use mocking character assassination as Joshua does. I do not use Alinskyite arguments, as Joshua does. Joshua has denigrated my military service without knowing who and what I am. Worse, he extended those insults, generalizing them to other military veterans. He and I may be allies of convenience, but ideologically, we are poles apart.

I was wary of Trump in the primaries, because he had been a progressive, indeed, a close friend of Bill and Hillary’s for his entire working life. I saw Ross Perot derail the H.W. Bush re-election. I worked for Ross Perot prior to his campaign. I knew Ross Perot (through work, not personally), and knew he hated the Bush family. I knew his Presidential election campaign was merely a device to derail Bush’s re-election. Perot had been a “scalded dog Democrat” all of his life. I believe he was a Clinton plant to split the GOP vote.

I saw Trump as likely in the same mold, as the Democrats only chance to derail a certain GOP Presidential victory, given the 17 other quality GOP Presidential candidates and eight years of Obama’s failure. (Before Joshua laughs at that last “17 quality candidates” statement, I suggest he compare every one of the 18 GOP Presidential candidates in 2016 against ANY Democrat nominee. He’d have to admit that the worst of 18 were far better than the best the Democrat party had to offer.) I liked several of these candidates, but in the end, I thought Cruz was the best qualified and most consistent conservative. When Trump started echoing the outrageous stuff about Cruz’s supposed mistresses and that his dad was part of a JFK assassination cabal, I went full “#NEVERTRUMP”, on principle. I didn’t want eight years of a progressive acting conservative, but flipping the “Marxist-Socialist” switch every time push came to shove. I didn’t want an Alinskyite progressive representing me as a “Republican conservative”.

Since the election, I’ve said that Trump has proven himself to be a very conservative President. He has kept promises. I LOVE that he beat Hillary like a drum. I’m not happy that he’s failed to keep key promises (e.g. immigration), but he’s not done yet. However, Trumpsters like Joshua still seek to divide. What are they accomplishing? What does dividing the GOP do for conservative causes? Hell, we lost the Alabama Senate seat because of this crap, and with it, very possibly a seat on the Supreme Court.

Some of these Trumpsters are as bad or worse than the Marxists “campaigning” against Kavanaugh. I DO NOT BELIEVE OR SUPPORT THE ADAGE “THE ENDS JUSTIFY THE MEANS” Not now, not ever. Joshua clearly does, as evidenced by his comments on your forum. There is not one iota of difference between the Democrats character assassination of Kavanaugh, and Trump’s echo’d claims about Cruz’s mistresses and daddy-the-JFK-killer. Ditto, the insulting comments in the vain that Joshua delivers on your forum daily.

Many are now saying that only a man like Trump could beat the Democrats. I disagree. Principled men like Reagan have won big. Principle always wins out over evil. I’ll support Trump as long as he keeps his promises, and remains a conservative President. “Trust but verify.” However, I won’t forget the progressive Trump, or the Alinskyite Trump, either. I hope for great things from Trump, and would vote to re-elect him if he ran today. However, I’ll never respect Trump the way I respected Reagan.

I believe a conservative President would have done the principled thing and fired Sessions a long time ago, because justice matters to conservatives. I believe Trump has allowed this leftist Coup d’atat to fester because he cares less about justice than he does about winning the next election(s). The Democrat’s coup, like the nutty Kavanaugh attacks, are good politics for the GOP. It gets out the GOP vote. Outlandish Democrat attacks consolidates the GOP vote. However, Trump’s “judo” tactics doesn’t achieve conservative policy goals, like removing Obamacare, does it?

America needs justice for the republic to survive, as well as some fiscal sanity (e.g. national debt). Thus far, Trump rates a zero on accomplishing either. I believe that Obama’s Justice and FBI used the NSA intercepts to obtain the opposition research that was flying around in the GOP primary, as they tried to sculpt the GOP primary to deliver the most vulnerable candidate. I believe that that was likely the reason Cruz didn’t win that primary. I believe that Obama used the same tactics to win re-election in 2012. I believe he held illegalities in Chief Justice Robert’s adoption of his South American kids, over his head to get his vote for Obamacare’s-forced-insurance-purchase-is-just-a-tax. And, I don’t think Trump cares one bit about this illegal, republic-destroying crap that occurred during the Obama Administration. He’s a practical man at heart, and his re-election and legacy “trump’s” justice or debt concerns.

I’d rather have a more principled conservative as President, but will support the “horse” running our race. I hope for the best from Trump. I hope he leaves office after eight years a better man than he was when he entered office.

Draining the Swamp takes time, meticulous effort, extreme caution…headway is obviously being made. Is it perfect? No. But, consider the time involved that it took to fill the Swamp, who fills it (nearly all dims, RINO’s, MSM, and more)…
What’s funny are those believing the Swamp should have already been drained and in the same breath shift the blame of the Swamp itself onto those draining it…incredibly naive and utterly ludicrous.

“… the FBI used mostly politically-motivated, unverified intelligence…”

Can we please, PLEASE stop using the word “intelligence” when talking about this criminal conspiracy? This was NOT “intelligence”. This was fabricated out of whole cloth, likely by Clinton operatives and perhaps Steele. I doubt that there was any Russian input whatsoever, but THIS WAS NOT INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION. It was a made up fable.

Criminal conspiracy–That’s exactly what it is.

And the “criminal” part is conspiracy to affect the outcome of the election and eventually, conspiracy to overthrow the duly elected POTUS…A coup d’etat.

It continues to this day and the US Marshal/US Marines should be employed to round up the conspirators and prepare for military tribunals.

This will allow honest men to become the real news of America along with many already paving the future.

The evidence seems to suggest the notion that nobody knows what the hell is going on (re; Russia, Rosenstein, Huber, etc etc etc etc). I’ve been following this for over 2 years. Opinions abound. And absolutely nothing happens. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. We know this. Dems are corrupt. Repubs are corrupt. The FBI, DOJ and everyone else in Washington is corrupt. The MSM is thoroughly and completely corrupt. Trump is the only one I trust. (and Kane, of course ,)) NOBODY knows what the F Trump is doing or why. He is very very good at what he does. But what is he doing?? NO ONE knows. Just another opinion. Mine.

More from The Hill 10-3-18 by John Solomon

“The sources said Baker identified lawyer Michael Sussman[n], a former DOJ lawyer, as the Perkins Coie attorney who reached out to him and said the firm gave him documents and a thumb drive related to Russian interference in the election, hacking and possible Trump connections.

Information gathered separately by another congressional committee indicate the contact occurred in September [2016], the month before the FISA warrant was approved.”

    https://www.perkinscoie.com/en/professionals/michael-sussmann.html

People may remember Perkins Coie attorneys were the ones involved with Obama’s bc. Former Obama WH counsel and partner at Perkins Coie, Robert Bauer, resigned from Perkins Coie in May 2018.

One of the articles listed at Sussmann’s Perkins Coie page is:

      WaPo 6-14-18 by Ellen Nakashima

Article blames Russia for DNC “hack,” quotes Shawn Henry, Dmitri Alperovitch of Crowdstrike, and Michael Sussman of Perkins Coie.

“…said Shawn Henry, president of CrowdStrike, the cyber firm called in to handle the DNC breach and a former head of the FBI’s cyber division….”

“DNC leaders were tipped to the hack in late April….”

That evening, she [DWS] spoke with Michael Sussmann, a DNC lawyer who is a partner with Perkins Coie in Washington. Soon after, Sussmann, a former federal prosecutor who handled computer crime cases, called Henry, whom he has known for many years.”
      ——–

Then follows Crowdstrike’s farcical story abetted by Sussman about Russia hacking the DNC, long since debunked in http://g-2.space/ Guccifer 2.0: Game Over.

Crowdstrike who used to have influence in 170 countries and Perkins Coie, 1000 attorneys internationally, are going to go MAD. Mutually Assured Destruction. They’re going to destroy each other. Thanks, James Baker.

And parallelly, Fusion GPS and Perkins Coie. Thanks, Bruce Ohr.

Correction: WaPo 6-14-18 by Ellen Nakashima should be 2016, not 2018. This was the CYA article that came out 2 days after Julian Assange announced on British TV that he had emails pertaining to Clinton. This is when Guccifer 2.0 got cooked up to blame the Russians and discredit Wikileaks.

The very next day after the above WaPo article in which Crowdstrike announces the Russian “hack”:

6-15-16: “Guccifer 2.0” affirms the DNC statement, claims responsibility for the “hack;” claims to be a WikiLeaks source; and posts a document that the forensics show was synthetically tainted with “Russian fingerprints.”

It’s soooo obvious, the whole setup. Russians wouldn’t advertise they did it with a flimsy Guccifer 2.0 persona and deliberately placed Russian fingerprints!

I wonder if the thumb drive handed to James Baker at the DOJ by Sussmann of DNC law firm Perkins Coie included Fabricated DNS logs – April Lorenzen aka Tea Leaves created to corroborate the Fusion GPS Dossier’s false claims about “Alpha” Bank connection to Trump Organization.

Nov 7, 2016 HeatStreet by Louise Mensch, recipient of deepstate leaks.
Reports on FISA application based on DNS logs.

So, Perkins Coie atty Sussman gives thumb drive to DOJ lawyer James Baker in September 2016. FISA application for warrant approved in October 2016. Did the thumb drive contain data from both Crowdstrike and Fusion GPS? And did it include falsified “evidence”???

      • V October 5th, 2018 at 5:42 am

And who assigned the task of creating those DNS logs to April Lorenzen and L.Jean Camp?

Was it Fusion GPS? (We know they pushed the story to the media, but did they also facilitate the fabrication?)

The Washington Times https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/dec/10/glenn-simpsons-fusion-gps-ran-donald-trump-smear-c/ reported on 12-10-17 that Fusion GPS was behind the now discredited Slate story about a special email server existed between Trump Tower and Moscow’s Alfa bank. Hillary Clinton tweeted the story the day it appeared—“It’s time for Trump to answer serious questions about his ties to Russia.”

How did Fusion GPS even know about the Tea Leaves DNS Logs “research” if they weren’t involved in it prior to pushing it to media? It’s a glaring connection.

TheIntercept.com 1 Nov 2016 describes the inconsistencies and the fingerprints of an oppo researcher.

Was it Crowdstrike? (Being in IT)

Thumb drive’s metadata needs to be preserved and investigated.

Where is it now? With Mueller group?

Also establish chain of custody for Mueller’s 12 GRU indictment. Who did the research for it? Crowdstrike?

    If A=B and B=C then A=C

    A – Crowdstrike
    B – Guccifer 2.0
C – “The Conspirators” alleged by Mueller to be 12 GRU officials posing as Guccifer 2.0

I still scratch my head over all this.

At the time, Hillary was leading in every poll.
    Most were expecting a coronation.

Even she was expecting a coronation as noted how she was talking about Donald Trump refused to say that he’d respect the results of this election, after the Vegas debate 10/2016.

    Hillary’s comment:

““That’s not the way our democracy works.

    We’ve been around 240 years.

We’ve had free and fair elections and we’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them and that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election.

President Obama said the other day that when you’re whining before the game is even finished it just shows you’re not even up to doing the job. “

“And let’s be clear about what he’s saying and what he means.
He’s denigrating—he’s talking down our democracy.
I for one am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our major two parties would take that kind of position.”

Read that quote very carefully again. This is someone who knew she was going to be president.

To spy on Pres. Trump ? ok..
but to hijack an election ? that was already won in everybody’s mushed mind ? makes no sense.
But… we are dealing with Hillary….
