even worse was the pandering by the chicks in charge. mcenroe was silent. looks like he enjoys his gig more than being on the right side.

There should be no controversy here. Williams behaviour was disgusting. She smashed a racket which could have injured someone with a random shard, she berated the judge incessantly calling him a thief and a liar and that he owed her an apology, then she threatened to use her status to ruin his career.
If you did that in any other sport to an official, you’d be looking at ejection and suspension and fines.

Serena’s behavior is disgusting. She has a record for such, this being the 3rd time for such antics, she obviously doesn’t have control over her emotions. Threatening line judges, and other incidents make her a nuisance in my opinion. But I don’t watch her anyway, don’t need it.

They once referred to that outrageous behavior as unsportsmanlike and threw the offender off the court… SHAME!!!

She accused him of being a liar and thief. Demonrats speech says all would be true of her, it’s all projection of her self.
Also the “mom card” thrown. How her as a mom means she can’t cheat. I guess all victim status for spoiled negroids?
Sooo sick of them. Dr manning warned us all about this. Barry Soetoro was point man for all this racism.
When a person reaches the level of these pro athletes but has no eduction, this is what you get. It’s ignorance gone to seed.

Career starting to fall apart. She’ll be recruited for a senate run in Florida next. Perfect fit for an angry, entitled, low IQ democrat with lots of talking points and lacking in character.

I don’t agree with her behavior, but she seemed truthful when she said she didn’t get coaching. I don’t know if her allegations about men being allowed to get away with more are true, but John McEnroe used to behave terribly. In any event, self-control is an important part of any sport, and of life. I don’t think the tennis court is the place to fight these battles. I see no excuse for throwing a raquet, ever.

McEnroe was a tyrant, but never used his gender or a child as a human shield. a weak argument is revealed when you have to state multiple reasons why your story must be true. the truth stands on its own merit. williams was projecting

She seemed truthful but in the linked article her coach admitted he was coaching her from the stands, was warned, and stopped.

Watch the venus and serena documentary, if you want to see more outbursts by millionaire victims and why their father chose tennis, which he knew nothing about, for his daughters.

Her assertion that men do a lot worse is true in respect to an individual incident. It was pointed out by commentators that men have done worse but have stopped their behavior after the first warning. They may have called an umpire or lines person a foul name or thrown a racket or kicked a chair but they did not continue the abuse after being warned. She tripled down on her behavior and went for broke. Being warned then being handed point penalty then game penalty. She just kept digging her own grave.

williams knows how to play the victim…”you owe me an apology” and calling the judge “a thief”, then crying and saying that men are at fault for her “treatment”.

I saw the hand signals the coach used, but didn’t understand what was being said. Serena and the coach would both know and they would only know if this type of coaching from the stands had been going on for a long time.

Serena threatened the judge saying she would make sure he never judged another tennis match. Her punishment for this remark is appropriate.

Serena is a thief, period! She stole Naomi’s limelight and she stole her glory. But in all, she couldn’t steal Naomi’s rhythm of play and she couldn’t steal her victory. Now, just go quietly into the night Serena, you’re finished!
