I drive a beat up Prius commuter box, don’t own a mask and carry everywhere now. You never know what’s inside a Prius (unless it’s plastered with stupid coexist stickers and such).

The Rite Aid pharmacy I go to does not bother me when I don’t wear a mask.

Various businesses still operate under various sections of code and rules in the USA. A storefront that is open to the general public does not get to tell the people what articles of clothing to wear; otherwise, they could order you to wear a burka, rainbow shirts, or other ideological articles before entering. The only exceptions are when specific protect equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, etc, are required, again, due to liability, regulations, or some obscure code. Masks do not qualify, especially not the dinky cloth dust masks people wear that don’t actually do anything.

Private property is supposed to be private property in the USA but the more you make your property open to the public, the more your rights shrink in place of the public. I doubt we need to go into the difference between publishers, media companies, and common carriers or why some are governed by section 230 but others are not.

I direct as much of my business at possible to non-maskhole businesses and I’m not going to tell good money to walk if someone doesn’t want to wear a mask at mine.

What you don’t seem to understand, Jomeey, is that CVS/Rite-Aid isn’t running their store ‘any way they see fit.’ They are being forced to run it by overbearing, overreaching and, probably, illegal government mandates.

There is NO evidence masks or social distancing work. THAT’s a fact. There is ample evidence that sunlight – Vitamin D – is the greatest disinfectant.

The problem is, these stores can’t operate how they see fit. It’s a mask dictate from lord government.

A private business that is a place of public accomodation is NOT above the law. They must obey the civil rights act of 1964. They cannot discriminate against people with disabilities, nor can they discriminate against people for their religious beliefs. They cannot infringe on free speech, either. They cannot make up unconstitutional rules and expect customers to follow them.

In addition, by requiring people to wear a medical device, they are practicing medicine without a liscence.

I keep my mask clean by letting my dog chew on it daily.

Glad this is relevant this morning. I see some things never change, the country is lost and we’re sh##%#ng on celebs.

Actually he is not. I’ve met him twice, once in Charleston and again in Sun Valley (he remembered my wife and me the second time) and he is one of the nicest most genuine Hollywooders we ever met. His ex, Demi Moore … notsomuch. Biggest b***h you can imagine for a tiny woman but Bruce, he was almost apologetic for her in Charleston. I’m not calling you a liar but I would be absolutely shocked if what you are insinuating is true. He has a very measured way about him and a wryly guarded response mechanism that, perhaps, maybe, might be interpreted a certain way but once he opens-up to you he removes all doubt that he could be, in any way, a switch hitter. And anyway, if he is, who cares. He is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood and most certainly one of the more conservative …. although, in that regard, he has been forced to remain in the closet to some degree.

What would you want him to do? Kill someone??? Rite-aid received no business from him as he left without purchasing the item, he intended to, and he didn’t put on a mask.

Hate to shock you, but that guy you were with was not actually Bruce Willis.

I tested POS, isolated with no more symptoms than a mild flu and retested NEG. I kept both PCR tapes and do not wear a mask anywhere… after all, they tell you if you’ve had it you can’t get it again. If questioned, I pull out those two PCR test results and show them along with a CDC/NIH statement to support my not having to wear a mask. Only one grocery store has told me it was their policy and I left the cashier line with a full cart of groceries for them to restock and I don’t shop there anymore.
