President Trump was correct when he said John McCain was no hero.

Absolutely, a triple: Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Bigfoot May 10th, 2018 at 5:46 pm

    The truth hurts eh?

  3. STEVE D. WALKER May 10th, 2018 at 5:48 pm

How many times in the course of media coverage does the truth as here covered get blocked?

  4. mtnrunner May 10th, 2018 at 5:55 pm

Why are you apologizing ? Were you serving in the Navy during the Vietnam war? Did you ever serve in the US Military? Were you doing a tour in the Hanoi Hilton? The General is right on target…I served with a young LT who did all the autopsies on the all the dead sailors on the USS Forrestal….total cover up to protect McCain.

    • Tim May 10th, 2018 at 6:49 pm

20 yrs USN here. Long enough to have seen the mandatory training film, “CVA 59-a carrier fights for life”, many, many times (at least a dozen) about the fire. In it, there is plat camera footage showing a plane (port side f’wrd as I recall) launch what appeared to be a sea sparrow or perhaps hellfire missile across the deck, striking others. That was the beginning, and it was quite evident in the footage. Didn’t see which plane McCain was in, but I know he was on the line. Saw no evidence of a hot start, or flames from the back of any plane. Just the missile, which the Navy attributed to an errant spark in the arming/launching system.

      • Navy May 10th, 2018 at 7:17 pm

Hey bro… 20 year tailhooker here also. Thanks for your service. Former flight deck shooter…. former carrier safety officer…. and did a few tours teaching kids how to fly. Had McCain’s son in my RIGS class for a week. But here is the deal with the mandatory training film TRIAL BY FIRE.

Go to 3:10 and watch the propaganda. At 3:32 the narrator shows for 1/4 second the phantom fire a Zuni. The narrator says…. Here, somehow a Zuni rocket has been triggered. Then they show the forrest fire

the VX-9 flight test F4 was a controlled fire out to sea. It is a 1/4 second scene for a reason. It is staged, tied down, and complete BS. No Plane captain. Just an empty sea and an F4 and a camera to make this look like the actual 1967 event.

Watch it again over and over between 3:10 and 3:40 and observe how this was his cover.

Also…. I hear a lot about winds and where Wetstart was parked. I will briefly describe for all the carrier cycle which lasts about 75 to 90 minutes. During the launch and recovery, the winds are right down the flight deck, usually 25 knots headwind if a COD has to launch. The launch and recovery lasts 20 to 22 minutes. For the next 50+ minutes, the carrier is steaming to a new piece of real estate and the winds are generally tailwinds.

Tailwinds during starts. In other words, pulling the old introducing fuel before 12 percent prank to make a fireball creates a wild and variable situation. The tail being pointed over the catwalk means that the tailwind will cause it to come back wildly along the fuselage onto the flight deck.

I wasn’t there but have 100+ traps on a forestall class carrier. The propaganda in the training movie TRIAL BY FIRE leads me to believe that McCain started the fire and his dad covered…. just as he was covering the USS Liberty.

Thank you brother fior your service, and thank you for sharing this truth. 3 generation of McStain traitors we have suffered as a country.

          • Navy May 10th, 2018 at 9:19 pm

His son was actually a good pilot it seemed. It was 15 years ago and I don’t remember much about him. I think he went on to fly Hornets but I never looked him up. Didn’t crash in flight school so must have been better than dad. Feel bad for him because of his dads ISIS legacy.

By the way here is something funny. If Wetstart was smarter…. he would have been the academy anchorman who receives one dollar from all 1000 graduates. Finishing 5th from bottom shows a lack of situational awareness as graduation approaches.

        • Tim May 10th, 2018 at 10:30 pm

Thanks shipmate, excellent response, and I see your points. First time I saw that film, essentially frame by frame, and I see what you are talking about. Thanks also for jogging my memory as to title, “trial by fire”. I just remembered the subtitle. I know McCain’s granddad was Adm Halsey’s COS, and had a steward detailed to follow him around to catch his cigarette ashes- a real slob. Many around them didn’t see what Halsey saw in him. Just don’t know how junior’s career was so precious to go to such lengths to protect it. What are your thoughts on that?

Regarding the Liberty, excellent book is “Assault on the Liberty” by James Ennes. Highly recommend it to you. What was McCain Sr.’s role in that horrible event?

          • Tim May 10th, 2018 at 10:31 pm

Response was directed to “Navy” above.

  5. adrian May 10th, 2018 at 5:59 pm

    • Remington..... May 11th, 2018 at 9:59 am

I hope they bury his traitorous ass at the sight of the former Hanoi Hilton. Maybe I’ll have the honor someday of missing on his grave.

The loser in this? Charles…He never should have had that asshole on his show.

  6. kevin miele May 10th, 2018 at 6:03 pm

wow charlie- a big fat pussy ,dude thats a reallife General telling you why mcstain is traitor NOT A HERO

  7. Duckandcover May 10th, 2018 at 6:09 pm

Aye! Wow! Shiver me timbers! What a revelation.

  8. Kane May 10th, 2018 at 6:10 pm

Here is a pretty good example of the reaction from the Left…

  9. Abc May 10th, 2018 at 6:14 pm

Love General McInerny, loved him as our commander, he’s a dam good pilot and the real deal.

    • The Prisoner May 11th, 2018 at 11:48 am

I think he is joking about torture, there’s no evidence of torture, the 2 commanding officers said they saw none. McCain was injured in his premature ejection.

  10. Fangdog May 10th, 2018 at 6:19 pm

I had a brother-in-law who flew in the same squadron as McCain. McCain was a horrible pilot and a danger to others. McCain exercised pure judgement and needlessly put fellow pilots lives at risk on many occasions.

McCain’s life was saved when he was shot-down and captured by the enemy……otherwise he would had never made it had he not been shot down by the enemy.

    • RoHa May 10th, 2018 at 9:55 pm

      Pure judgement or poor judgement?

      • rocketride May 11th, 2018 at 10:20 am

        Pure(ly) poor judgement.

    • Tom May 11th, 2018 at 10:22 am

He bailed in fear of getting shot down and possibly burned. The bullets whizzing by……the coward bailed a good airplane. His 3rd, I think. Not counting USS Forrestal. He would be considered an ACE in the enemy’s point of view.

      • The Prisoner May 11th, 2018 at 11:44 am

        I can believe that.

  11. Steve Smith May 10th, 2018 at 6:35 pm

I interviewed for a talk radio program some of the men who were at the Hanoi Hilton….and Songbird McCain was mentioned several times. They hated his guts.

I also interviewed some of the men that were on the aircraft carrier Forrestal and there was one reason why McCain was removed from that ship…..the rest of the crew wanted to kill him. The coverup was done by his father who was a high up admiral in the Navy.

    • Navy May 10th, 2018 at 7:23 pm

See my above post and watch TRIAL BY FIRE at 3:10 to 3:40 to see an after the fact rocket shot while the narrator says this was the catalyst. Pure propaganda. In my opinion this scam is the PROOF about what really happened.

    • Chuck May 10th, 2018 at 10:09 pm

His daddy also covered up for israhell’s attack on the USS Liberty

    • Remington..... May 11th, 2018 at 10:02 am

So was his grandfather. He’s right up there with Hanoi Jane

    • The Prisoner May 11th, 2018 at 12:17 pm

So it seems that this family passes on the behavior. Grandpa covered up John’s numerous major mistakes. John set up daughter in media business, she now gets to play a pretend conservative on TV for millions.

Best comment from a talking head in many years. Too bad our society can’t handle the truth any longer. Feelings are more important nowadays.

  14. Fred head May 10th, 2018 at 6:50 pm

He will be dead soon, so they say. But when it comes to Mccain they say alot. Mostly just a figment of his imagination.

  15. Frank Stein May 10th, 2018 at 7:05 pm

I guess I get to add a new name for Hanoi John McCain.

  16. Justin Case May 10th, 2018 at 7:16 pm

    True McCain: (with supporting links)
    ▪ His plane was shot down over Viet Nam…. because he was ordered to break off the chase… and refused to obey orders.
    ▪ At the same time, both shoulders were broken… because he refused to follow instructions of how to protect self when ejecting from aircraft.. ( lack of medical treatment allowed the broken bones to heal as they are now… he was never tortured!)
    ▪ As soon as he was able to talk, he told his captors exactly who his Father and Grand-father is (was).
    ▪ He wasn’t given a choice for release. Congress feared the public learning of ‘special treatment’ and refused to have him released.
    ▪ There are (or was) pictures of him riding around in Hanoi with the prison camp commander… treated like a guest!
    ▪ After becoming a Senator, he prevented funds to find and rescue MIAs still being held in hidden prison camps.
    ▪ Showboating, McCAIN nearly sank U.S.S. Forrestal Aircraft Carrier, Killing 134 Sailors
    ▪ McCains entire life is nothing more than lies concocted to make him seem a hero.

Songbird McCain tapes found and released.

    POW betrayal.

    Meeting with known terrorists?

McCain funded by Soro’s since 2001?

    • ZOG May 10th, 2018 at 9:24 pm

I have shared all those links about the traitorous pos Insane McStain with my many 1000s of friends and fans.

  17. Mike Hawkslarge May 10th, 2018 at 7:24 pm

You think this is bad the way a few people are talking about McCain right now? – Heck he’s still alive – people are holding their tongue just out of decency.
Wait until he dies then watch…it will be an all out free for all.

  18. CommomSenseAmerica May 10th, 2018 at 7:44 pm

Sorry Charlie, but you’re an ass. The statement was 100% ACCURATE and factual. McCain Songbird is/was a treasonous piece of shit in Vietnam. His family saved his ass, from the justice that he deserved. Same as when he caused the deaths of over 100 crew members. What a piece of shit. He had a FAR better life than he deserved. Good riddance to that trash.

  19. Charlie May 10th, 2018 at 7:45 pm

cant wait to see songbirds sealed records unsealed. The truth will come out soon i hope

  20. Judy Jenkem May 10th, 2018 at 8:04 pm

Johnny Songbird thinks he’s going to sail off into the sunset a “hero.” The media is working hard to make it happen.

I hope some survivors of the Forrestal come forward next.

    • Navy May 10th, 2018 at 8:12 pm

Swift Boat crew needs to gather and organize the Wetstart Forrest Fire Crew.

      • Remington..... May 11th, 2018 at 10:04 am

        THAT is a great idea.

  21. Lt. Fuzzy Pants May 10th, 2018 at 8:28 pm

oh no – they didn’t call mcCain songbird because he was made to talk under torture – anyone would do that – they call him songbird because he traded his secrets for special luxury treatment by his captors.

  22. blabla May 10th, 2018 at 8:32 pm

people all know he’s nothing but a singing bird. couldn’t take the pain. he was and is still a spoiled little brat. old now. singing canary Mc Cain. betrayed the USA and was granted a seat on the senate. when He dies they will spit on his grave. we know what he’s been doing in the middle east. all that garbage will soon come out. too bad the old fart is almost dead and won’t see what becomes of his legacy.

  23. Edward Huguenin May 10th, 2018 at 8:50 pm

If you know anything about the Code of Conduct you’ll recognize a traitor when you hear this.

  24. Honeybuckets May 10th, 2018 at 8:53 pm

    General McInerny told the truth.
Charlie, that knee-jerk reaction to apologize… is chicken…

  25. Ned May 10th, 2018 at 9:22 pm

    A privileged, bitter, loser.

  26. george Archers May 10th, 2018 at 10:01 pm

Got to give McCain some credit. While in captivity having a luxurious 5 star hotel room, and it gets better.
Vietnam’s top general stationed at the same hotel, his daughter fell in love with McCain and had a child. Nice to be a prisoner :^(
After leaving the country–child was never seen again.

    • Navy May 10th, 2018 at 10:26 pm

      I can only imagine….

      You from “sheep?”
      You T.D.Y.?
      You offissa?
      Me so horny.
      You crash airplane?
      You burn “sheep”?
      Me love you long time.

      • Tim May 10th, 2018 at 11:06 pm

Now that’s funny! Since I’ve heard (most) of those sweet musings shouted in my ear (but TAD instead of TDY), could hear the lilting accent and smell the beer in the place and the general puke aroma of poverty common in that part of the world. For me, it was the PI (served 76-97). Missed the s storm of VN. My older brothers got to enjoy that vacation spot. Thanks for your service, shipmate.

  27. Bill May 10th, 2018 at 10:27 pm

There is a great recent book called “Remember the Liberty”. It claims that the USS Amberjack SS522 fired the fifth and fatal torpedo that caused most of the deaths and nearly sank the Liberty.

Do a search at, which doesn’t use the censored Google search, and type in: uss amberjack uss liberty. I spent four years on a frigate, so I’m a little salty.

  28. Anonymous May 10th, 2018 at 11:53 pm

wow the mccain family thinks that being a traitor to your country once on foreign ground and then on your home country in government is to be seen as untouchable.

  29. Tuco May 11th, 2018 at 1:06 am

And yet again, we find out that Trump called it correctly.

  30. August May 11th, 2018 at 1:07 am

McCain’s Hanoi Hilton was an actual Hilton, with room service, cocktails, and a daily newspaper delivers to his suite.

“Torture works, and if we have to use it to save a million American lives then so be it.”
“Of course the fact we used it a million times and never saved a life, well tough titty.”
There are some really sick people out there and most of them are/were in the military.

    • Cranford Ducain May 11th, 2018 at 6:47 am

I just noticed your posting. I must ask, did any members of your family ever have the balls to put on a uniform in service to the United States ? Where were you when they handed out courage and integrity ? Have you ever considered how your life here may contrast with what you life may be if it were not for those who serve this nation and allow you to have the right to be an ass hole ?

      • PJ London May 13th, 2018 at 1:55 pm

Drink your koolaid, it is getting warm.
I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.”

  33. Cranford Ducain May 11th, 2018 at 6:42 am

I can’t help it. I find many of these comment both degrading and insulting. I personally feel my shit is much much better than any part which could be sawn off from John McCain. The only part of his leaving this world which I will find disappointing will be when I am partied out and have to get sober enough to go back to work.

  34. Bud May 11th, 2018 at 7:53 am

McCain has always had a shady past regarding his captivity. I agree with the General’s remarks. Additionally, McCains years as a Senator have been two-faced.

  35. Butcher May 11th, 2018 at 8:41 am

The Murdochs got to Charles Payne in a hurry.

  36. “That’s why they call him songbird” – IOTW Report May 11th, 2018 at 8:45 am

[…] A Retired Air Force General became embroiled in controversy after discussing torture and the reason why they call John McCain ‘Songbird’. […]

  37. Solomonpal May 11th, 2018 at 9:42 am

As part of the most progressive alignment within the GOP John McCain has a habit of attacking anyone he politically disagrees with, including his own constituents. Previously he’s called conservatives “Hobbits“, “Jihadists“, “Whacko-birds“, and now “Crazies“.

Because McCain has worked specifically to undermine his own state, the Arizona Republican Party has twice voted to censure McCain for his insufferable work to advance the policies of President Obama.

The resolution condemns McCain “for his continued disservice to our state and nation,” and said state Republican leaders “will no longer support, campaign for or endorse John McCain as our U.S. Senator.”

In this interview today John McCain, refuses to apologize and mentions “town hall meetings”. It should be noted that McCain cancelled his town halls because he was getting too much backlash from his constituents.

  39. Zeb May 11th, 2018 at 10:06 am

Excellent comments and links, I never realized what a dirt ball McCain was/is.

  40. Larry Smith May 11th, 2018 at 10:56 am

McCain personally killed any chance of the POW MIA investigation from going forward and he went so far to put language in the bill to prevent any reopening of the investigation in the future. His final despicable traitorous act condemning those left behind and wiping out any shred of hope they and their loved ones may had had to be brought home. Hanoi might as well honor him with a 21 gun salute when he finally drops dead. Good Riddance to a disgusting man.

  41. Mike May 11th, 2018 at 12:00 pm

There’s way too many people to back up the General’s charge for it not to be true. Personally, I don’t respect John McCain in any degree whatsoever. That smart thumbs down gesture that he displayed on the Senate floor killing the G.O.P. Health Bill tells you just how full of himself this disgusting individual is. I’m sorry for any person who contracts any form of cancer, but that being said, his will be one obituary that will bring no tears to my eyes.

  42. safetyguy May 11th, 2018 at 12:06 pm

I’d bet my home on the fact that McCain intentionally took a $$$$ dive on his Presidential campaign. The presidency was his for the taking, and his campaign virtually shutdown the last couple of months. Democrats will try to buy anyone, and phony McCain was ripe for the picking.

  43. Ahmed the Patriot May 11th, 2018 at 1:21 pm

McCain threw the election because he believed in Obama more than himself.

  44. Charles Meredith May 11th, 2018 at 1:45 pm

Be sure McCain is buried face down.
There are many who will find his grave and piss on him.

Ass up and above ground so we can park our bike in his ass.
Payne can apologize all he wants, it ran, either by accident or on purpose only he knows.

I hope his tombstone has a built-in toilet paper dispenser.

  46. Larry Morse May 11th, 2018 at 11:30 pm

I was going to comment but you gentlemen have said it all.

I’ve known the stories about McCain’s “Service” since the Forestall burned. If his daddy hadn’t covered for him he’d gone down in history as a second rate pilot who crashed a lot of planes.
