Sad, especially if it’s caused by dead under growth that’s not been dealt with in past years.

Dry area normally but it also hasn’t rained all summer long. No monsoon this year.

Those pine trees are sticks of tnt ready to blow. Meanwhile, Kane is the ONLY person I can think of who immediately realized that this and not more Op-Ed / Twitter garbage (“Milano wet her pants again!”) would be of interest to his clients. Thank you, Kane!

Very interesting to me too. We had two kids who graduated from CU in Boulder.

When did they graduate? I hope they were not indoctrinated by the Soviet Commissars now called “Teachers”.

Good to know if you are planning an Elk hunt in Colorado anytime in the next five-seven years. Not so much if you drew this unit this year though.

Really amazing how much smoke fires like this create. Isn’t that air pollution against the law?

It has rained ash on my house at least four separate times this year, sometimes for days. Like living in hell.

I’m intimately familiar with the cal wood property and know for a fact the diligence of the property owners have done superb mitigation over these last 4 years. It’s just so dry here and windy. Even the best efforts can’t stop some fires.

True…the Cameron Peak fire by Loveland and the Mullen fire (just north of Loveland on the Wyoming border) have had winds up to 70mph during the last couple of weeks. All the firefighters can do is run like he’ll when that happens.

Yes, it is sad. A beautiful area however, the city of Boulder has been a turd in Colorado’s punch bowl for decades. The very leftist residents of Boulder make San Fransicko look like an Infowars commercial.

I don’t know the original cause but this part of it was caused by embers from the original fire. Came across the mountain top and down the next Valley. No way to attach a pic here but the smoke is unreal.

Dead undergrowth + Antifa soyboys = Massive fires

No Problem…..17 miles………With a good 5:00 PM wind the Fire should cover that in about an Hour……or less ????

Corey Gardner was asked where was the furthest place he’s been from Colorado and his reply was Boulder.

Libtards against silvicultural thinning – I’m a forester (35 years) and I can tell you if you don’t thin Mother Nature will eventually “thin the herd” and the result is a tinderbox

Wildlife Conservation Manager here, Trinity… We were using stone tools only 1000 generations ago. When city dwellers, unattached to the wild, assume that they can ‘control’ the things that have been going on under the stars for billions of years its just human ego and nothing more. Mother Nature will not hesitate to slap down our ego any time she chooses… without a second thought. It is beautiful and I am constantly full of awe.

I’m with ya _ we need every Bambi Movie on the Planet Destroyed. Fire & Forest Go Hand in Hand, the real Nature.

You are correct, Trinity.

That top vid is from 9News. Same station that hired the murderer security guard. And, paid staff to photograph it.

Going to be some partying tonight with all the weed! 🙂

Gee, I hope nothing happens to the Liquor Mart!

Worse still for Boulderites, if this fire makes it much further, their weed is going to go up in smoke, just like Cheech and Chong.

Sitting here watching the fires just west of me out my study window. Nasty and pretty windy.

In-ground plutonium…which underbrush and trees grow into and take airborne when they burn…are open for “business.”

liberal leftist idiots took over colorado and imported millions of aliens to boot. and now with their horrific “environmental” mis-management will lead to a tinder box!

Not to mention the God Awful Traffic, you cannot get anywhere in an Hour. The worst area has become I-70, in the Winter, all these people crowd the Mountain Freeway in the Left lane, doing 20-25 mph. Last Christmas I drove to Denver from Grand Junction. got in the far right lane, set my Cruise at 65 & passed no less then 1,000 cars hogging the left lane. Even the Mountain Curves that are designed for the speed limit, they all brake to almost a complete stop.

Salaam Elipse

Yeah – it’s so crowded that nobody goes there anymore…

MW

Maybe the fire can be stopped if Denver’s 9NEWS hires a fake security guard to kill it.
